Thu Ha Chow, Focus Area Head - Sustainable Finance

Thu Ha Chow is a seasoned investor and Robeco’s country head in Singapore, with over 14 years in Asia and 15 years in senior fixed income roles in London. She is deeply committed to advancing women in finance, having served on the committee of WCIU’s Women’s Institute. With a strong passion for sustainable investment, she regularly speaks at conferences and across media platforms. Beyond the boardroom, she is married to Philip and is a devoted mother of three. Through family, faith, and finance, Thu Ha continues to learn how to faithfully integrate her calling with her work in the world.

Steve Kroeker

Steve comes from the West Coast city of Vancouver Canada and immigrated to Singapore in 2024 with his family. He met his wife Shai while serving on the Management Team of A Rocha Canada and together they helped to build an integrated community to carry forward the mission in the surrounding watershed and to develop programs at the Environmental Centre.

At university he studied Urban & Cultural Geography with interest in how people interact with the specific places they live, work and play. While at Regent College, a Graduate Theological Seminary, he was introduced to the importance of caring for God's wonderful creation as an integral part of Christian discipleship.

Steve got to know A Rocha's ministry through friends working on the team in Lebanon and their vision resonated deeply, inspiring a reorientation to his understanding of how to live out his Christian vocation.

Samantha Kwan

Samantha is a marketer by profession. She has launched and managed global brands at Unilever as well as did B2B marketing at Meta. In 2024, she delved into the world of startups and is currently doing Business Development for Omnistream, an Agentic AI solution to help grocery retailers gain efficiency and reduce waste with better planning. 
She is passionate about redemptive entrepreneurship, social impact projects and continues to support small business entrepreneurs with fractional marketing. She is an avid hiker and enjoys all things outdoors.

Ajith Isaac PhD, Focus Area Head - Sustainable Finance

Originally from Bangalore, Ajith moved to Singapore in 2011 to pursue a PhD in molecular biology, before transitioning from venture capital into tech entrepreneurship. Today, he builds startups at the intersection of innovation, purpose, and impact.Beyond work, he actively serves in nature conservation, leading kayak clean-ups and surveying horseshoe crabs. It was a timely recommendation from Peter Harris to read A Long Obedience in the Same Direction marked the beginning of his journey toward spiritual integration.

Through science, stewardship, and slow obedience, Ajith continues to learn how faith shapes both his inner life and outward work.

Gail Lien Wang

Gail is a Governor of Lien Foundation, helping steer one of Singapore’s most respected family foundations in philanthropy and social impact. As part of Asia Philanthropy Circle’s climate-focused philanthropic network, she contributes to efforts addressing systemic challenges in Asia’s environment and sustainability. She also serves on the board of Rainbow Centre — a nonprofit supporting children with special needs. She blends long-standing experience in charitable governance with a forward-looking vision for social and environmental impact. Through her roles across foundation, nonprofit, and philanthropic-network boards, Gail quietly shapes a more inclusive, sustainable, and compassionate Asia.

Gail is married to Philip and together they have 3 daughters.

Wen Li Lim

Wen Li Lim a Venture Partner at Praxis, a venture-building ecosystem advancing redemptive quests, supporting founders, funders, and innovators motivated by their faith to address the major issues of our time. Based in Singapore, her passion lies at the intersection of faith, impact investing, sustainability and entrepreneurship, focusing on partnerships across the region. This has included roles at Faith Driven Investor, an impact VC fund and a mental health tech company. Her initial two decades of experience in Perth Australia includes 10 years at EY, international HR at an ASX company, founding a non-profit and COO at her local church. 

Wen thrives in building communities and has convened people around creation care (with A Rocha Singapore), Christians in Web3 (co-founder) and most recently in the stewardship space (Stewardship Collective). She is driven by collaborative action, to propel resources to flow into the most needed places in the region.

In her spare time she is a snack scout, searching for delectable snacks for a US distributor and an aspiring apiarist.

Eli Ordonez

Eli is a communications professional whose experience spans various domains, from music journalism to social media management and most recently, data analysis. After hours, Eli spends his time pondering matters both finite and infinite with the aid of the arts, namely music, film and poetry. He makes both noise and melody as alternative rock act Count Vernon. Nature has been a space for awe and mental well-being to him, and desires a healthier co-existence with God's good creation.

Matthew Phan, Project Manager (ARSg) | Catalyst (ARI)

Matthew has spent over two decades working across Asia’s credit and investment markets, in Singapore, London and Hong Kong, as a journalist, then investment analyst, head of credit research, and portfolio manager. Growing up a city boy, his interest in nature stems from a love of the outdoors and a friendship with Peter Harris, and a sense of maintaining connection with a loved one now gone.

Since 2020 he has been involved with A Rocha as part of a 'Ravens' project to connect nature and finance, particularly in Ghana, and also supports A Rocha Singapore’s Bloom & Buzz project. He has also helped build the A Rocha community in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Evi Syariffudin, Focus Area Head - Conservation Science

Evi’s love for creation was first shaped in the landscapes of her childhood in Sukabumi, Indonesia, where her conviction in biophilia took root. She now serves as Research Module Coordinator at the Singapore-ETH Centre’s Future Cities Laboratory, integrating agroecological food systems into urban regions across Monsoon Asia. Alongside her research, she teaches and mentors students in landscape architecture at the National University of Singapore.
 
Her journey into creation care was awakened by the gift of For the Beauty of the Earth from a mentor who helped her see environmental stewardship as an act of worship

Sharon Tan

Sharon Tan is a lecturer at an institute of higher learning in Singapore, where she designs meaningful learning experiences that help students engage more deeply with sustainability. Her work explores the use of game-based learning and emerging technologies to foster meaningful sustainability learning, including the design of an outdoor adventure trail that encourages students to discover sustainability features across the campus. Alongside her teaching practice, her PhD research focuses on how students develop a connection with nature in urban green spaces, particularly through knowledge building and place-based learning experiences. Sharon also serves in her church’s creation care ministry, where she leads reflective walks at Dairy Farm Nature Park and creates opportunities for participants to slow down and reconnect ecological stewardship with faith and everyday life.

Mark Teo

Mark Teo is an Assistant Professor of Design at the Singapore Institute of Technology and serves on the university’s sustainability education committee.He leads sustainability-focused continuing education programmes and previously coordinated the university-wide Design Innovation module impacting thousands of students each year. His research sits at the intersection of design, people, and environmental sustainability, with a focus on housing, food systems, and systems thinking.His current work examines how climate change is reshaping urban food systems.

Through teaching, research, and formation, Mark seeks to shape thoughtful designers who steward creation with wisdom, responsibility, and hope.
